Jefferson Middle School FLL Teams

In April 2023, the Olympia School District announced the discontinuation of Jefferson Middle School's LEGO robotics program. In response, FIRST STEP partnered with the Olympia Robotics Federation, the esteemed local high school-level robotics team in Olympia. This collaboration aims to assume responsibility for managing and facilitating Jefferson Middle School's FIRST LEGO LEAGUE teams. Some students who have participated in FIRST LEGO LEAGUE during their middle school years are part of the Olympia Robotics Federation and will be mentoring the students. FIRST STEP aims to introduce programming and technology for middle school students in underrepresented areas through the Jefferson Middle School FLL program.
